Happy Sunday, everyone! I was looking for ideas for holiday themed posts, and I came across the Christmas Tag! It’s the fourth of December, and I have managed to post every day this month so far. I am gonna try and continue this “blogmas” throughout the whole month! Without further ado, here’s the Christmas tag…

1. What is your favorite Christmas movie/movies?

This is a hard one to pick just one, but I’m planning on doing a roundup of ALL my faves later this week! My #1 would probably be Elf. I know that’s a lot of people’s favorites but it is just so crazy good!! It’s hilarious and heartwarming and just the perfect Christmas movie.

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

Christmas morning. Occasionally I open one present from my aunt on Christmas Eve, but I prefer opening them on Christmas morning!

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

Every Christmas brings some special memory into my life! I love waking up with my brother every morning and waiting every so patiently for one of our parents to wake up.

4. Favourite festive food?

Hm. We don’t go crazy with a Christmas feast or anything, but once in a while we get a pie and that’s ALWAYS delicious! Oh – also candy canes. Haha!

5. Favorite Christmas gift?

I have loved all the gifts I’ve ever received so it’s so hard to pick a favorite!! Of course, when I was little it was definitely my American girl dolls from my grandparents! 😉

6. Favourite Christmas scent?

I believe there are two types of people in this world: the people who absolutely love the cookie, gingerbread, sugary, and cake scented candles, and the people who absolutely hate them. I LOVE sweet candles!! And the gingerbread scent is super perfect for the holidays. Hands down my favorite.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

Not really any formal ones… sometimes I’ll watch a Christmas movie with my brother and drink hot chocolate!!

8. What tops your tree?

Believe it or not we don’t have a star. OK, well we have a star but it doesn’t ever fit… haha.

9.  As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

Hm. I can’t think of an exact one, but maybe some American girl doll accessory (those are crazy expensive)!!!

10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?

Everything! Spending time with my family, sleeping in on Christmas break, watching movies and Christmas themed TV episodes, listening to music, eating candy and food, taking Polaroid photos… the list goes on!!!

The first song, White Winter Hymnal, is one of my all time favorite Christmas songs. I just think it’s so beautiful!

Some of my other favorites are Last Christmas (I fell in love with the song when they did it on Glee… that cover is so good/so sad!) and Little Saint Nick. (I LOVE the She & Him cover.)

Speaking of She & Him, their older album is one of my favorites, but they just came out with a new one this year, and it’s awesome! Holiday Wishes by Idina Menzel, Wonder by Handsome and Gretyl, White Christmas by Brooke White, and That’s Christmas to Me by Pentatonix are some of my other favorite albums!

Hey guys! I scheduled this post to come up on December 1st… so happy December! I LOVE December. It’s one of my favorite months. Obviously because of the holidays and the snow (sometimes), but I also love knowing that the new year is right around the corner! I’m so looking forward to 2017. Today I am going to start a mini series called Josie’s Gift Guides! I love giving gifts and I thought I’d give you all some fun ideas!

1 // Camera enamel pin // Enamel pins are so fun and so cute! This is a really great gift because there are HUNDREDS on etsy you can choose from to match personalities!

2 // Gel pens // Who doesn’t love a new set of pens? Especially with the new year coming up, there are so many opportunities to use them and write in a journal or draw!

3 // Phone case // This one is from ban.do, and I LOVE ban.do so so much! Their products are so original and colorful. I have a planner from them and it’s just the best!

4 // Nail polish // I’ll admit – I can’t keep nail polish on more than few days because I will pick it off, BUT with fun colors like this, I would try to keep it on for weeks! 🙂 Essie is my favorite brand.

5 // Fuzzy socks // Do I even need to explain why these are amazing? I don’t know anyone who has turned down a pair of fuzzy socks!

6 // Earbuds // If you’re anything like me and always loose your earbuds, a new pair is always great!

7 // Rainbow Polaroid film // For Polaroid lovers, this is a super awesome little gift!

8 // Hair ties // These are a bit fancy, but I love getting any hair ties cause I ALWAYS need them! Haha!

Hey, everyone! It’s been a while and I am very sorry about that… the last few weeks have been crazy and I’ll admit I have definitely procrastinated!

Happy November, though! This Wednesday, the US woke up with a new president. I am not going to go deeply into my opinions, but I will say I am not satisfied with the results. I am trying my best to stay positive, no matter how hard it may be. We all have the power to change things if we work together! The next election in 2020, I will be able to vote, and I can’t wait. Ok…… done with my rant!
