weekend links & life lately

Hey, everyone! It’s been a while and I am very sorry about that… the last few weeks have been crazy and I’ll admit I have definitely procrastinated!
Happy November, though! This Wednesday, the US woke up with a new president. I am not going to go deeply into my opinions, but I will say I am not satisfied with the results. I am trying my best to stay positive, no matter how hard it may be. We all have the power to change things if we work together! The next election in 2020, I will be able to vote, and I can’t wait. Ok…… done with my rant!
Here are some photos of what I’ve been up to lately:

Knitting, knitting, knitting!

Sushi…. ahhh…!!

Love my new lights from Target!

Halloween candyyyy!!!

My fortune from chinese food last night.
I hope so!
Today I’m sharing some links of things I have come across this week and loved. I’ve seen numerous bloggers do this and it always looks so fun!
Unicorn toast….. um, this is awesome. Looks delicious, too!!
This Gilmore girls viewing party….. I don’t know about you guys, but I am so excited for the highly anticipated GILMORE GIRLS revival!!! This party throwing tutorial is super fun. #TeamJess
Abigail Halpin’s art….. so pretty, detailed, and colorful!
This cartoon about donuts and the meaning of life…… when I first came across it, it was a bit depressing. But now, it’s actually quite comforting and true.
These amazing geode cupcakes….. not only are they insanely pretty, they look delicious and fairly easy!
Casey Neistat on Youtube….. I’ve subscribed to him for a while, but just recently got into his videos. The way he films and edits makes them so fun to watch!
Avocado chickpea salad sandwich….. I want this so bad. It looks fantastic!!!
That’s all for today! I hope you check some of these out. What have you been loving lately? Have a great day & happy veteran’s day!

Apple picking!!
Hey guys! I shared my 10 things to do this fall list a couple weeks ago, and I am so excited to share the ones I complete with you all!
I had the day off a couple Mondays ago, due to Columbus day, and we went apple picking! I had a lot of fun, and brought my camera along… enjoy!

I’ll be sharing my APPLE PIE making photos either later today or tomorrow! Stay tuned! Hope you enjoyed these photos. I had a lot of fun!

Bread :: a photo diary
Hey, guys! So last week, I shared my 10 things to do this fall list. I am so excited to tell you that this weekend, I completed TWO of those things! Yay! I’ll be sharing the second one tomorrow. 🙂
On Saturday, (or Sunday… I can’t remember!) my mom and I made BREAD! It was my first time making bread with yeast. I think it turned out really well, and it was way easier than I expected. We just used the King Arthur flour recipe for white bread. 🙂
Here are some photos:

^^Mixing it all together!^^

^^You’ve gotta get your chocolate on while it’s rising!^^

^^The finished product, looking beautiful as ever on that paper plate. LOL. ^^
So yeah! That was my summed up photo diary of my experience making bread! I hope to do it more because it was really fun and easy!
Stay tuned for tomorrow’s post! I’ll be sharing my apple picking and apple pie making photos!
Happy Wednesday…
10 things to do this fall!
Hello and happy Monday guys! (Don’t worry – I’m not up this early! I had this blog post scheduled to come up now so… hi!) I’ve done a few bucket lists in the past, but this one I am going to try SO hard to complete before winter. It should be pretty easy, as the first day of winter is in December. Here is the list!
