Interview with Emma!

Hey, guys! Some of you may know Emma from her blog, http://www.emmagranger.com.  She is the same age as me, and I am so happy we got to meet through Instagram! We decided to do an interview together! So I answered some questions on her blog which you should definitely check out! Here are her answers:

Why did you start blogging?

Blogging was on my mind for a little less than a year before I started my blog. The reason I made a blog was because I have always been interested in creating, drawing, fashion, art, photos, and pretty much anything similar! It has been an awesome outlet for all of my interests.

Were there any blogs in particular that inspired you?

To be honest — not really. 🙂

Where do you see yourself in ten years?

Hm. This is a super-duper hard question because it really depends on if (Or when… always be optimistic:)) my blog gets popular. But no matter what happens, I will go to college. And if at that point I’m still blogging – SUPER!

What’s your main goal for your blog?

As most people do, I want subscribers and people to follow me. But, the main point of my blog is to express myself, and hopefully those around me for the better.

Where does your blogging inspiration come from?

A lot of the time, it’s things I just see around me! Although, some of the time (well… actually a lot of the time :)) I see pins on Pinterest that spark ideas of my own! ]

Favorite Harry Potter character? 🙂

Ohhh Josie you know me too well… One (I have a lot) of my favorites is Fleur Delecour. She is confident, gorgeous, and has a bit of attitude. 🙂

Thank you so much, Emma for doing this interview with me! Stay tuned, hopefully we’ll do more collabs together! Be sure to follow her on instagram, pinterest, and to check out her awesome blog!

Top 10 Best Halloween Candy

Hey guys!!! It’s officially Halloween week! I’m going as Glinda the Good Witch with my friends who are going as the rest of the Wizard of Oz characters! I hope to do a post of my costume (which is not completely ready!) But for today I decided to do a ranking of my favorite Halloween candy… Because who doesn’t love candy?!

10. Kit Kats: I LOVE Kit Kats.. They are the perfect combination of smooth chocolate and crunchy-crispy inside!

9. Candy Corn: I will say, candy corn is a favorite of mine but ONLY when it’s Halloween time. They don’t even have it in stores unless it’s fall, but I always seem to see it in show up at some random birthday party. Like how did it get there?! Stay away candy corn! You’re for Halloween only! (But seriously it is delicious, and so are those candy corn pumpkins!)

8. Laffy Taffy: I have always loves laffy taffy, but I only seem to be attracted to the banana ones! This year, sadly, I won’t be able to eat them because of my braces. 😦

7. Almond Joy: Not many people like Almond Joy (including my brother) but I love it! I am a huge fan of coconut and almonds, and them plus chocolate is just perfect!

6. Butterfinger: I feel like Butterfingers are always forgotten. I don’t know why, though! They are so so perfect! Just the best texture and flavors together it makes my mouth water thinking about them.

5. Hershey’s: Hershey bars… Ahh. Sooooo delish! I could eat tons and tons of these on Halloween (and everyday, too!) Ok, am I the only one who loved those “Air Delight” ones…? Where did they go? Oh – and the almond ones are yummy too!

4. Tootsie Rolls: These are a classic that never go out of style! Raise your hand if you’ve lost a tooth from these suckers before! 🙋

3. Sour Patch Kids: These have been some of my faves for years and I still love them!  (Have you tried the blue ones?! They’re really yummy!)

2. Heath Bars: I love love love love Heath Bars!! Even though you can buy them at the gas station, they make me feel so fancy and royal eating them! I love toffee<3

1. Reese’s:  Literally. Anything. Reese. Is. Amazing. I could eat peanut butter cups all day. Can you believe I used to hate these?! I can’t!  They’re definitely my #1 pick.

That’s all for today’s post! What are your faves? Hopefully, I’ll see you tomorrow or Friday and I’ll show you my costume!! Have a great rest of the Halloween week!

Fun Fall Baking/Cooking {pt.1}

Hey, guys! Last night my dad and I made some DELICIOUS soup. Seriously – it was so so good. It was Apple Cider Cheddar Butternut Squash! How fall-ish does that sound? I found the recipe on Pinterest and had it on my food board for a while now, so I figured why not make it?!

So this is what it looked like when we finished. Such a pretty color and an even prettier taste!

Here is the recipe

So after we made the soup, I decided to make something else for dessert. We had pillsbury crescent rolls (which I love 😍) and I found another baking recipe which used those. So basically, you put brown sugar in the cresents, then an apple, and bake them! It’s pretty much a mini apple pie! SO delicious. (Yup, we finished all 8 of them last night.)

This pic doesn’t really do justice to what they actually tasted like. They were so simple and took less than a half hour!!!!
Here is the recipe!

If you happen to try these, post a picture on Instagram/Twitter with the #StudioJosieEats, and tag me! I have decided to do a fun fall baking and cooking series, so whenever I try a recipe, I’ll post it!!

Happy Sunday and have a great week!!
